Efstathios E. (Stathis) Michaelides, Ph.D., P.E. Professor and W. A. Tex Moncrief Chair of Engineering, Department of Engineering, Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Texas, USA BiographyEfstathios E. Michaelides is a Professor and W. A. Tex Moncrief Chair of Engineering at Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, USA. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Science from Brown University and has held senior academic and leadership positions at Tulane University, University of Texas at San Antonio, University of North Texas, and University of Delaware. His research focuses on multiphase flow, particle and bubble dynamics, thermodynamics, exergy analysis, geothermal energy, energy storage, renewable energy transition, and nanofluid heat and mass transfer. He is a pioneering researcher in the transient equations of motion for particles, bubbles, and droplets, as well as turbulence modulation in dispersed flows. Professor Michaelides has published 9 authoritative books and more than 280 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings, with highly cited work in multiphase flow, thermodynamics, and sustainable energy. He has led numerous research projects funded by the NSF, DOE, DOD, NASA, and industrial partners, totaling millions of dollars in grants. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and a Fellow of the American Society of Thermal and Fluids Engineers (ASTFE). His distinguished honors include the ASME James Harry Potter Gold Medal, ASME Edwin F. Church Medal, ASME Fluids Engineering Award, ASME Distinguished Service Award, and multiple national and international awards for research, teaching, and professional leadership. He has served as Editor-in-Chief, Senior Editor, and Editorial Board Member for numerous prestigious journals, and has delivered over 50 plenary, keynote, and invited lectures at top universities and international conferences worldwide. Prof. Mahmoud Reza Delavar
Prof. Mahmoud Reza Delavar is a Full Professor at the University of Tehran, Iran. He currently serves as Director of the Center of Excellence in Geomatic Engineering in Disaster Management and Director of the Land Administration in Smart City Laboratory. He is also Advisor of ISPRS WG IV/2 (Artificial Intelligence and Uncertainty Modeling in Spatial Analysis), 2024–2026.
He received his Ph.D. in Geomatic Engineering (GIS) from the University of New South Wales, Australia. His research focuses on smart cities, spatial data infrastructure, spatio-temporal GIS, spatial uncertainty modeling, AI in geospatial analysis, big spatial data, disaster management, and urban planning.
He has published over 150 peer-reviewed journal articles and 260 conference papers, with Google Scholar metrics: 3059+ citations, h-index 31, i10-index 67. He serves on the editorial boards of more than 10 international journals and has supervised 15 Ph.D. and 110+ master’s students.
He has received numerous awards including ISPRS Best Paper Award, multiple NCC Best Paper Awards, Best Ph.D. Thesis Supervisor Award, and three-time Best Advisor for International Affairs at the University of Tehran.

Prof. Liang Tian
He has published more than 20 papers as the first author or corresponding author in top-tier journals in the field of materials including Matter, Acta Materialia, FlexMat, Energy & Environmental Materials, EcoMat and Scripta Materialia, with an H-index of 21. His research achievements have been reported by internationally authoritative media such as Advanced Science News and the U.S. Department of Energy.
He has independently developed 2 computational materials software programs, presided over a number of scientific research projects, and participated in 4 key major projects funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.
Research Interests
He has served as Co-Chair/Executive Chair for 4 international and domestic academic conferences, Symposium Chair for over 20 sub-forums, delivered 4 keynote speeches and more than 30 invited reports at academic conferences at home and abroad.

Assoc. Prof. Fedor S. Fedorov Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Moscow, Russia Dr. Fedor S. Fedorov is an Associate Professor at the Center for Photonic Sciences and Engineering (Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology). In 2010, he defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences, specialty "Electrochemistry" and in 2026 he earned a degree of Doctor of Chemical Sciences, specialties "Electrochemistry" and "Physical Chemistry". His research interests include semiconductor chemical sensors/test systems, multi-sensor gas-analytical systems, chemical analysis, supercapacitors, electrochemical sensors, template synthesis, etc. F.S. Fedorov's experience is emphasized by his work as a researcher at the Institute of Solids and Materials in 2011-2012. (IFW Dresden, Germany) in the field of materials for chemical power sources, template electrochemical synthesis, as well as being PI or co-PI of grants from domestic (Russian Scientific Foundation, Russian Foundation for Basic Research) and international (DAAD, Fulbright, grant from the Finnish Academy of Sciences, visiting researcher support from Chinese Academy of Sciences) foundations and other projects (U.M.N.I.K., Grant from the competition to support the publication activity of NUST MISIS young researchers, scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation) in the field of materials for chemical sensors and multisensor systems. In addition, Fedorov F.S. is the PI of 10 industrial projects with several Russian and international companies. He is a co-author of 14 patents of the Russian Federation and 9 Eurasian patents, 1 international patent and 2 certificates for a computer program. The total number of publications in the Scopus database is 88, and the total number of patents is 27. He was awarded diplomas for the best reports at conferences, the silver medal "Archimedes 2020" (2020), 1 patent entered the TOP 100 best Russian inventions according to the FIPS assessment for 2018.
